Pay Your Utility Bill
Pay online through PSN, in person at Town Hall, or by mail.
The Town of Sparta accepts cash in person and checks by mail or in person at the Town Hall for utility bills with no additional fee. We accept credit and debit card payments at the Town Hall for utility bills for an additional processing fee. A transaction fee of 3.0% will be charged to your card at the time of payment. Utility bills can also be paid on-line through PSN with a credit or debit card. A transaction fee of 3.0% will be charged to your card at the time of the on-line payment.

Other ways to pay
- In person: Sparta Town Hall, 304 S. Main Street, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- By mail: Town of Sparta, P.O. Box 99, Sparta, NC 28675.
- Drop box: located beside the drive-thru window.
Billing dates and fees
Water meters are read on or near the 27th day of each month depending on Holidays and weekends.
Water bills are mailed out the first of the month and due by the 15th of the month. If not paid by the 18th, a $10 late fee will be added to the bill. If not paid by the 18th of the second month, service will be disconnected and a re-connection fee of $40 charged and account must be paid in full before service resumes.
