Before you build
When building a home in Town:
You must check with Town Manager, Jose Butron, or Zoning Administrator, Kevin Dowell, regarding zoning. Any remodeling or refurbishing you must check with the Zoning Administrator.
Water and sewer connections
Connection (tap) fees for new water and sewer service are as follows:

| Outside City Limits | $3,000 | $3,000 |
For 3/4-inch meter. Any meter larger than 3/4-inch will be an increase in price.
- Note: Property owner is responsible for water & sewer lines from the house to the road right-of-way where water & sewer hook-ups are available and if any boring is required.
- A $100 Water Service Deposit is required before any Residential service connection.
- A $200 Water Service Deposit is required before any Commercial service connection.

Plans and maps
The Town publishes no zoning map, permit fees, or land use plan online. Call Kevin Dowell at 336-372-4257.
